Satchmo Taxi Refund Policy

At Satchmo Taxi, your comfort, trust, and satisfaction are our top priorities. While all fares are typically final once a ride has been completed, we understand that unexpected issues can arise. Our refund policy is designed to be fair, clear, and customer-focused.

Eligible Refund Situations

You may qualify for a partial or full refund under the following circumstances:

  • Service Error: If your driver did not arrive or a confirmed booking was not fulfilled due to an error on our part.
  • Duplicate Charges: If your card was accidentally charged twice for the same trip.
  • Incorrect Fare: If you believe you were charged a fare that does not match the agreed-upon quoted price or posted rate.
  • Significant Service Concerns: Situations where the ride experience was severely impacted by a verifiable issue caused by Satchmo Taxi.

 

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Changes to your plans after the driver has been dispatched
  • No-show situations where the driver waited the standard waiting period
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or external factors outside our control
  • Completed trips where no service issues were reported

 

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 48 hours of your ride with:

  • Your full name
  • Date and time of the ride
  • Pickup and drop-off locations
  • The amount charged
  • A brief description of the issue
