Sponsor-A-Ride becomes S.O.N.G.
(Supporting Our Neighbors with Generosity)
S.O.N.G. is a community-powered ride fund that provides free, one-time emergency transportation for neighbors who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Through shared generosity and compassionate service, S.O.N.G. ensures that no one is left stranded when a ride matters most. (For those that are familiar with Sponsor-A-Ride, this is the same program with just a new name.)
How S.O.N.G. Works
There are two meaningful ways you can make an impact:
- Make a One-Time Donation to the S.O.N.G. Fund
- Make a Recurring Monthly Donation to the S.O.N.G. Fund
Know someone in need of transportation?
Make a one-time or recurring donation to the S.O.N.G. Program. Your contribution goes directly toward providing rides for:
- Seniors and fixed-income individuals
- Veterans
- People with disabilities
- Individuals facing temporary financial hardship
- Anyone in our community who needs a safe ride but can’t afford one
